Oman Aggregate Crushing Plant Case with Jaw Crusher and Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher
HAMAC supplied a complete stationary crushing and screening solution for an aggregates project in Oman, combining a jaw crusher as the primary crushing unit and a vertical shaft impact crusher as the shaping and sand-making unit. The site photos show the plant already installed and running, with belt conveyors linking each section and finished aggregates stockpiled beside the production line.
Project introduction and solution
This Oman project is a stationary aggregate crushing plant built for long-term production of crushed stone and manufactured sand. Based on HAMAC's crushing and screening product structure, this kind of solution is aimed at quarry, aggregates and complete stone crushing plant applications, and the Oman site fits that positioning well. The customer needed a reliable production line to process raw quarry stone into marketable aggregates for concrete production, road base and other civil construction uses. They expected stable output, reasonable investment cost, easy maintenance and a finished product with better particle shape than a simple primary crushing line could provide.
The production line starts from a steel feed hopper and vibrating feeder, which send the raw stone into the primary jaw crusher. After the first stage of crushing, the material is transferred by belt conveyor to the next processing section, where the vertical shaft impact crusher improves particle shape and produces finer material for high-quality aggregate and manufactured sand. From the site layout, the project uses an elevated conveyor arrangement and compact foundation structure, which helps the material move smoothly from one machine to another while keeping the plant organized in a limited work area. The finished material is discharged to a stockpile area, where aggregates of suitable size can be loaded directly for transport to downstream users.
Jaw crusher and vertical shaft impact crusher connected by conveyors
Before choosing HAMAC, the customer faced two main problems: the raw stone needed primary size reduction, and the final product from ordinary coarse crushing alone could not fully satisfy the demand for better-shaped aggregates and sand. HAMAC solved this by designing a two-stage solution with a jaw crusher for primary crushing and a vertical shaft impact crusher for shaping and fine crushing, supported by vibrating feeding and belt conveying equipment.
The main machines in this Oman crushing plant include a steel feed hopper, vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, belt conveyors, vertical shaft impact crusher, vibrating screen and final discharge system. This equipment combination follows HAMAC's crushing and screening product system, where individual crushers and supporting equipment are combined into a complete stationary solution.
Design highlights and services
The most important highlight of this design is the rational combination of primary crushing and particle shaping. The jaw crusher handles the large feed material efficiently, while the vertical shaft impact crusher improves the cubical shape of the final aggregates and supports manufactured sand production, which gives the customer more flexibility in selling multiple finished products.
Another highlight is the simple but practical civil foundation and conveyor arrangement. It reduces unnecessary transfer points, keeps the maintenance space open and makes the entire line easier to operate on a daily basis.
Throughout the whole project, HAMAC provided budget analysis, program planning, equipment manufacturing and after-sales support. In line with the service commitments shown on the website, we focused not only on supplying machines, but also on helping the customer with solution design, communication during installation and later service support so that the crushing plant could run smoothly on site.
