A multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher has been delivered

HAMAC recently completed the production and delivery of one unit of multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher (HPT series) for an overseas quarry and mining customer focusing on hard stone such as basalt, granite and river stone. The machine is part of a complete crushing and screening solution and will be installed as the secondary and fine crushing equipment to produce high-quality aggregates with cubic shape for asphalt and concrete. This HPT series cone crusher adopts full chamber feeding and inter-particle lamination crushing technology introduced from Germany, which greatly improves capacity and product quality compared with traditional spring cone crushers.

Configuration, factory testing and shipment

For this order, HAMAC supplied an HPT multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher with an optimized crushing chamber and suitable power class, selected according to the customer's required output of around 200–250 t/h and feed size from primary jaw crushing. The crusher adopts a fixed main shaft and small spherical bearing structure, offering higher efficiency than old spring cone crushers, and combines crushing stroke, speed and chamber design to increase output by 35–60% under the same cone size. The lamination crushing principle makes different particles crush each other inside the chamber, increasing the proportion of cube-shaped aggregates, reducing needle-like particles and giving a more uniform grading that meets modern sand and gravel industry standards.

During factory testing, the cone crusher was run with full chamber feeding to verify stability of oil pressure, temperature of the lubrication system and smooth movement of the adjustment and over-iron protection system. The multi-point split hydraulic lubrication and control system was checked to ensure double protection for bearing lubrication and overload relief, so that when unbreakable objects such as iron blocks enter the chamber, the hydraulic release system can open quickly and reset automatically after passing the material. Detailed test records, photos and videos were prepared for the customer so they can understand the performance before installation on site.

After all tests were completed, the multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher was cleaned, painted and prepared for shipment. The main crusher body was fixed on a steel base, wrapped and reinforced for transport, while wear parts and spare parts such as mantles, bowl liners and hydraulic components were packed separately in wooden cases. According to the shipping plan, the equipment will be loaded into containers or onto flat racks in HAMAC's factory and then transported to the port, where it will be shipped to the customer's country. Thanks to compact design and relatively small footprint, the HPT cone crusher can be installed in a limited space within the customer's existing plant layout.

Applications and benefits for the customer's plant

On the jobsite, this multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher will work with a primary jaw crusher and vibrating screens to form a stationary or mobile crushing line. With correct control of feed size, discharge opening and operating load at 75–90%, the machine can achieve high efficiency, long liner life and stable output. By using this HPT series cone crusher, the customer expects to improve production capacity, obtain better aggregate shape for asphalt and ready-mix concrete, and reduce maintenance downtime compared with their previous spring cone crusher.
