48m Truck-Mounted Concrete Boom Pump Delivery
HAMAC recently completed the production and delivery of one unit of 48m truck-mounted concrete boom pump for an overseas customer who is engaged in large-scale building and infrastructure projects. This new concrete pump truck is based on HAMAC's mature boom pump technology, with boom lengths ranging from 30 m to 70 m, and combines a strong truck chassis with a high-efficiency pumping system to ensure continuous and stable concrete delivery for high-rise buildings, bridges and industrial plants. By choosing a 48 m boom length, the customer gains a wider working radius and better flexibility on congested jobsites, while still keeping the overall weight and cost at a reasonable level.
Configuration, factory testing and shipment of the 48m boom pump
For this order, the 48m truck-mounted concrete boom pump is installed on a well-known heavy-duty chassis brand, which offers strong bearing capacity, good dynamic performance and low fuel consumption, making the pump truck reliable for long-distance road travel and daily operation. The pumping hydraulic system adopts a full hydraulic control design, using oil pressure signals to simplify operation and improve reliability, so that the swing cylinder can reverse quickly and smoothly, reducing impact and making the concrete cylinders fill more completely for uniform and continuous discharge. The boom hydraulic system uses a load-sensitive proportional control valve, allowing the operator to control the boom movement precisely via wireless remote control and keeping the boom smooth and stable during folding, unfolding and placing.
The 48m boom is made from high-strength low-alloy steel plates and designed with the help of finite element analysis and dynamic testing, with all critical welds subjected to 100% non-destructive testing to ensure a safe structure and long service life. The machine is also equipped with a simple and reliable electrical control system using branded components and provides both panel and wireless remote operation to adapt to different working habits and jobsite conditions. Before delivery, HAMAC's technical team carried out full machine testing, including boom movement, outrigger deployment, high and low pressure pumping modes and emergency manual operation, to verify that the truck-mounted concrete boom pump meets the performance requirements and can be put into service immediately on arrival.
48m truck-mounted concrete boom pump
After all tests were completed, the 48m concrete boom pump was cleaned, inspected again and driven to the loading yard, where it was secured on a transport truck or driven directly to the port depending on the shipping arrangement. For overseas delivery, HAMAC usually ships boom pumps by Ro-Ro vessel, flat rack or bulk vessel, and for this 48m unit the logistics team selected a suitable route and vessel type to ensure safe and efficient shipping. The machine was fixed with chains and wheel chocks to prevent movement during sea transport and detailed loading photos and videos were shared with the customer as part of the pre-delivery documentation.
Applications and benefits for the customer's projects
Once the pump truck arrives in the customer's country, it will mainly be used for high-rise residential buildings, commercial complexes and bridge deck concreting, where its 48m boom can cover a large working area without frequent repositioning of the truck. Compared with trailer pumps and truck-mounted line pumps, the truck-mounted concrete boom pump eliminates the need to lay long pipelines on the ground, reducing preparation time and labour, and improving safety by keeping the placing hose closer to the boom tip. The combination of a powerful pumping system and a long reach boom allows the customer to complete concrete placing tasks more quickly and with fewer workers on site.
By supplying this 48m pump truck and providing training and after-sales support, HAMAC helps the customer improve their concrete pumping efficiency, reduce project time and strengthen their competitive advantage in the local construction market. HAMAC will continue to develop and deliver different models of truck-mounted concrete boom pumps to meet the various needs of customers around the world, ranging from 30m city pumps to long-boom pumps for large infrastructure projects.
